Who we are

Katwe united primary school located at 8H2H+7CJ, Kevina Rd, Kampala(Katwe Kiganda zone). The school offers Primary education to both boys and girls between the ages of 2 and 17.

Besides providing routine education as guided by the Ministry of Education, Katwe united primary school imparts critical life skills among all learners. This empowers the learners to build confidence in themselves, develop a critical, analytical and optimistic character as well as empowering them to grow as Global citizens. At Katwe united primary school, children enjoy a flexible program that combines classroom work, practical illustrations and learning through play. Children are further given liberty to ask, contribute their own knowledge and express themselves on any study topic both within and outside the classroom.

School Motto

Katwe united primary schoolhas a motto that says "READ AND WORK".

Our Mission

The mission of this school is to "Produceself-reliant future citizens, upright and God fearing."

Future Plans

  • To install a boarding section to enable pupils from far to enjoy the school services.
  • To put up a flat to cater for teacher's accommodation as most of the teachers come from far.
  • To tarmac the school compound in order to improve on the sanitation of the school.

Shelter

The school has enough shelter to accommodate the ever growing number of pupils and staff room for the teachers. There is also an officer for the Head teacher and Director of studies.

The Pupil Community

Our School is open to children and parents from all walks of life. Apparently, the student community comprises of children from almost all corners of Uganda, Kenyans, Tanzanians, Rwandese, Congolese, Nigerians, Sudanese, Ethiopians, Eritreans, Cameroonians, and Britons. In spite of varied nationalities, all children and parents are accorded equal opportunity and treatment.

Similarly, the school enrolls all religious denominations including Catholics, Anglicans, Adventists, Moslems, Pentecostals, Liberals, etc. So we accommodate all religions, nationalities, and cultural orientations without any discrimination.
